Inspection of the end item. Sampling shall be in accordance with MIL-STD-105, Sampling Procedures and Tables for Inspection by Attributes.
Visual and dimensional examination. The pad holder shall be examined for defects in finish, material, construction, workmanship, marking, and nonconformance with dimensional requirements. Defects shall be as classified in Table I. The inspection level shall be level II with an accptance quality level (AQL) of4.0 for major defects and 6.5 for minor defects, expressed in terms of defects per hundred units.

Preservation, packaging, packing, labeling, and marking. Preservation, packaging, packing, labeling, and marking shall be as specified in the contract or purchase order.
Notes. Purchaser must specify type and size floor pad holder required, shower feed if other than sizes specified, the manufacturer’s make and model number of the polishing machine if an adapter plate is required with the drive assembly, and type of centering ring or retaining collar, if required.
Copies of military standards may be obtained from the procuring activity or as directed by the contracting officer.
