6. The cleaner shall have a two position switch (on, off) for operating the cleaner which shall be mounted integral with the unit, shall be convenient and reliable for operation and of quick-break design.
7. The cleaner shall operate as a blower as well as a vacuum cleaner.
8. The cleaner shall have either a 15 foot or 50 foot power cable, as specified in the ordering data.
10. The cleaner shall be provided with a scrap collection device of such construction as to prevent objects being drawn into the impeller with resultant damage to the impeller or impeller housing, or being thrown into the dust collection bag so as to penetrate the bag, thus creating a personnel safety hazard. The device shall be able to be attached to the intake side of the cleaner, and shall collect objects or hardware before the impeller housing, while allowing the dust and air to pass into the dust collection bag.
11. When specified in the ordering data, attachments shall be supplied, as specified in table II.
12. Two copies of the manufacturer’s standard operating and maintenance instructions shall be packed with each cleaner. Included with the manuals shall be a complete factory part lists and a list of all available accessories. The parts list should be annotated to show which parts can be purchased separately as repair parts.
